Parent Focus Group on Ecological Grief and Anxiety

Are you a parent? Does your child struggle with grief or anxiety about climate change, the future, or the state of the world?

Come help inform my research with young people on ecological grief and anxiety at this parent focus group at Foxy studio on Tuesday, 1/14 from 5:30-7! In exchange for your input you will receive a workshop and materials on best practices for supporting your child with their grief and anxiety.

Ecological grief and anxiety refer to the mourning and future fears related to the impact of ecological devastation, climate change, and loss of biodiversity and non-human species. While my research focuses on ecological grief and anxiety, I see these as deeply inter related with the mental health impact of collective violence and polarization - experienced and witnessed locally, nationally and globally.
